National Glamour Day

Today is National Glamour Day (for those located in the Netherlands and Belgium). It's kinda been a tradition for me and one of my best mates, one we have created ever since we knew each other, which is 5 years already! Basically we head off to Amsterdam and it's a day full of shopping, fun, food, gossiping catching up and indulging ourselves in the new autumn/winter collections. During NGD you receive 20% discount on all non-discounted pieces from at least 4500 stores, the only condition is that you need to bring the magazine Glamour with you (issue pictured above). After a full day of shopping, I thought I'd be nice to share some moments with you.

Sorry for the lack of action pics - I was too busy enjoying myself and shopping that I completely forgot about capturing the moments. Anyhoo, I hope you enjoyed this post and can see it as a mini-tour through Amsterdam.

NB. National Glamour Day is not an official national holiday.

Have you ever participated/celebrated National Glamour Day?

    1. That's such a pity, it should be a thing internationally, really. I had the greatest time and the weather was lovely too for once x

  2. I have never heard of NGD, but it looks like so much fun! It's probably because I am from the U.S. You are so lucky to be in Europe! It's my dream to visit one day!

    1. It's really one of the events I'm looking forward to each year. Oh you know, I'd love to visit the States again - have only been to Miami when I was a kid. So-Cal and NYC have a firm spot on my 'before-I-turn-25-bucket list' x

    1. Ah, they really should have it in every country where they publish Glamour. I know for a fact that it's 'celebrated' in Germany next week x
