Bleach(ed) Hair

December 1, 2013

I've always wanted to dip-dye my hair in a funky colour, but have yet to find the courage to actually do it. It's the bleach that scares the living daylight out of me. As I have very dark brown-to-black hair, it's impossible to get any colour showing on my locks properly without bleaching it. With the recent launch of Bleach London's at-home dye and bleaching kit, this just made the butterflies in my belly twist and twirl. With a collage of 'dos I really fancy, I hope that I'll gain enough courage to book in for a 'Bleachenders' job soon. Who knows... I'm kinda in the 'new year, new hair' vibe.

Would you want to do something (drastic) with your hair?

  1. i also have very dark brown hair and it seems impossible for many hair-color shades to work on me! the drastic thing that i have done with my hair is cut them really very short, just like my avatar haha it does give me a very liberating feeling! :P

    1. Oh that's a pixie-cut though, I'd love to do something like that, but that'd just look horrid with my face shape... The most daring I've gotten is a over-the-shoulder-bob. I'm getting a bit bored with my hair, so I'm itching for something new. Just am a tad too lazy and afraid - not the best mix, ha x

    1. I can completely understand your point, I'm still undergrad, but am about to write my thesis at a company (starting Feb). So lots of doubt on my side. Though I just want to be crazy for once and do something that'll last for a few weeks only x

    1. I'm not sure if I dare to, definitely not something permanent or that'd damage my hair in a irreversible way (my hair is doing bad enough) x
