With my on-going love for honey, I've stumbled on yet a new brand that uses honey as one of their main ingredients. b2beauty is a British brand that believes that skincare should be as organic as possible, and most of their products are 98% certified organic, if not more. I've been trying out their latest range Sknrg for the past few days now, and I can say that besides the brilliant company values, their products speak to my heart as well.
Sknrg is a range that is rich in fruit enzymes, anti oxidants, peptides and AHAs, which sound like a bliss to me, as I am still battling with hyper pigmentation spots on my cheeks. The range promises to improve the texture of the skin, reducing pigmentation spots while making the skin appear more plump by reducing the appearance of fine lines.
First up is their AHA & Enzyme Cleansing Melt - simply the name already got me, but the product is just as lovely. It's a thick white balm and its got a clean and fresh scent to it (b2beauty doesn't add any synthetic fragrance to their products). After applying it on the skin, I wash it off with a muslin cloth. My skin is noticeably brighter and for some reason it just looks smoother as well. Till now it's still a mystery to me how that's possible, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
After cleansing I follow up with their Enzyme Toner, which is alcohol free. It's similar to the exfoliating toners that are in the market nowadays, and as my skin is rather sensitive to those, I just use this every other night and follow up with a moisturising toner. I found that some pesky under-the-skin bumps became smaller or even disappeared after a few uses. I love swiping this around the jawline as well. Then I apply their Collagen Day Cream, which contains collagen and peptides, making the skin appear more plump and smoother. It is very moisturising for the skin without being too heavy or greasy as it sinks into the skin almost immediately. All products mentioned are featured in the b2 Age Defy Daily Essentials Mid Kit, which is a great way to try out the core products of the range. Sknrg is mainly focused on ageing and break-out prone skins and I'd recommend this range to everyone in a heartbeat.
