Bootie Call

Winter has barely been winter this year, I'd most probably call it a cold-autumn, but nothing more than that. I love my ankle boots and I haven't worn anything else last autumn, this winter. As I'm not the tallest kid in town, I like to have a chunky and short heel to my boots to elongate my legs and also because I simply can't drive with heels that are too high. These pairs are the ones I've been wearing throughout the past months and are the most comfy shoes I've got in my possession. When taking this picture I forgot where I put my Michael Kors Chelsea Boots so they're not in this picture (I found them in their shoebox instead of on the floor...), but I think I've been wearing that pair the most. Comfy yet stylish, that's my kind of shoe.

What are your thoughts on ankle boots?

  1. love them boots!

  2. Love those boots! Especially the silver leather boots! Would you like to follow each other on GFC, bloglovin and facebook to stay in touch? Let me know, thanks!

  3. Found your blog through Jenn at A Beautiful Zen :) Regarding ankle boots, my thoughts are: always very cute on the display, but the problem is HOW to wear them with jeans? I also like to elongate my legs, and I just don't know how to do that with ankle boots and jeans -- do you tuck them in? Leave them out? Let the chips fall where they may?

  4. Comfort, style and warmth at the same time: you cannot wish for more ;-)

  5. Aw, thanks so much for visiting my blog - hope you'll stick around! Most of the time I actually wear my ankle boots with jeans, which strangely enough fit perfectly, but if not, I tend to stuff into my boot (I usually wear skinny's). In Spring I ten to fold the end of the leg a few times so it just hangs above the shoe and shows a bit of ankle (hope that this sentence makes sense).

  6. I'll give them another try with these ideas in mind then :)

  7. Good luck, let me know how you get on with them!

Thank you for your lovely comments, they really make my day!
