Just In: REN Hot Cloth Cleanser

REN is a brand you probably have spotted on the blog a gazillion times, which they deserve fair and square. Whether it's a new product launch or an all-time favourite, they never seem to disappoint me.So when I received the REN Hot Cloth Cleanser around Christmas, I was super excited. I love trying out new cleansers and especially if it's from one of my go-to brands.

The Hot Cloth Cleanser is part of their Rosa Centifolia range, which is designed for all skin types and preferences. The RC range already consists of six different cleansers to suit everyone's preference and routine. It contains Vitamin P from Rosa Centifolia, which decongests and soothes the skin, Cocoa Seed Butter aids to lock in the moisture and Damask Rose Petals de-stress the skin. It's a rich, creamy cleanser that is really easy to apply all over the face and scent-less (at least I don't really smell anything).

I double-cleanse everyday, unless I haven't worn any make up that day. But normally when I do, I use this as step one and take one or two pumps and spread the cleanser all over my skin in circular motions. I wet the cloth that comes with it in lukewarm water and place it on my face to open pores and when the cloth has cooled down, I just rinse it and then use it to remove the remains of the cleanser and then splash my face with some cold water to close the pores. The cleanser is really gentle and removes all make up in the first go, leaving my skin clean, nourished and smooth - like a mini at-home spa treatment. The Hot Cloth Cleanser is available from Marks and Spencer and from other stockists across the UK starting from 2nd February.

What are your thoughts on the REN Hot Cloth Cleanser? Do you use hot cloth cleansers yourself?

  2. This REN cleanser sounds nice! I'm not quite as zen about cleansing my face as you are -- I just quickly use an oil-based makeup remover on my face before hopping in the shower, hoping for the best :)

  5. It really is! Gosh, don't get me going on cleansers... I could ramble your socks off, ha! I love using oils to take off my make up too, or balm cleansers or cream cleansers... I'm not that difficult to please ;-)

  7. Thanks! It's a cream-based cleanser, though it does contain a few plant oils (the product itself doesn't feel oily at all). It's best to check on their website to spit through the entire ingredients list. Hope that helps!

  12. Yes it is exactly that! Such a nice treatment and a nice alternative if you're looking for something else than an oil based cleanser. I'm glad I could help x
