NARS Blushes Are Tha Bomb

Well... the title is rather explanatory I'd say? Quite embarrassing, but I've only now taken my first steps into the blusher world of NARS. The cult blushers in the industry and it is about time for me to add my two cents to the table.

Not surprisingly, my experience is not much different from others: the quality is bloody amazing. I never expected it to be this pigmented and long-lasting at the same time. I've got the shades Mata Hari, a pale pink, and Torrid, a warm peach with a slight shimmer. Both shades are perfect for every day wear and are simply enhancing one's natural look.

Packaging wise, it's sleek, matte and it's got the perfect size mirror. The only negative aspect of the matte case, is that it does attract dirty fingerprints —but it's no biggie. They apply very smoothly and I personally like to use the Real Techniques Blush Brush to apply them. 8 hours later they still sat on my cheeks and were only slightly faded. It doesn't appear too powdery, nor does it really cling on anything you don't want it to. So good.

  1. Dying to try a Nars blush, I love the highlighter I have. I hear about the shade Torrid so often now... seems like a go to colour xxxx

  2. It really is. I was doubting at first, but I'm so glad I got this shade – super flattering on most (if not all) skin tones!

  3. Since you read my blog, you know how I feel about these. I really want to check out the Real Techniques Blush Brush with them, though.

  4. Haha yes, such a coincidence. Then again, like I always say: great minds think alike ;-). I used to be a person who wouldn't fuss around for a blush brush. Then my then-colleague said it was the best thing ever and I haven't looked back ever since. Besides the uber soft bristles, the egg shape provides the perfect amount of blush on the cheeks.

  5. i love this kind of blushes beautiful colors!

  6. I am a big fan of NARS blushes as well and particularly like the shade sin.

  7. Oh, that is a stunning colour indeed! It's on my list to try now.
