Gimme Brows

Well, how ironic. I actually planned to write this review when I still had brows, but yeah... Life's full of unexpected twists and changes. I've been using this the day I got my hands on this, and I can see why so many people love it. Simple and effective —my kinda product.

Truthfully, I was a bit shocked by the size of the product, as it is truly small and I'm not even exaggerating. The brush that comes with it reminds me of Clinique's bottom lash mascara has (correct me if I'm wrong) and makes it very easy to get all the hairs regardless of your brow shape.

Benefit Gimme Brow comes in the shades Light-Medium and Medium-Deep, and while I always get the darkest shade for brows, Light-Medium is a perfect match for me. Just a few brush strokes leave me with fuller, darker brows that don't make me look like I just stuck two pieces of seaweed on my brows. It's water-resistant and stays put all day. This paired with a few strokes of Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette made it possible for me to fix my brow situation slightly, and not look like a brow-less hot mess.

  1. i've thought about this one but...i don't really need to tame my brow hairs that much, thankfully. my mute pencil is all i've needed so far (also, my mom is going to hk, taiwan and shanghai...do you have any beauty picks i should get her to buy?)

  2. Ah, you lucky thing! JUJUCOSMETICS has this amazing Hyaluronic Acid serum (blue glass bottle, from Watsons/SASA) which is great for dry/dehydrated skin. Also, Borghese Fango Mud Mask, Skin79 Green Tea Toning Mist, Effaclar Mist Toner, My Beauty Diary sheet masks, Haruhada Vitamin C Activator, Bioré Pore Strips (though I think you can get these in the States too?) and any skincare product from Missha. I personally loved their Aqua Moist line a lot. They've got great dupes in general (SKII Essence Toner, EL Midnight Recovery Treatment, Lancôme Genefique, etc). Hope this helps?
