I'm one of those unlucky people who are doomed with dry hands 365 days a year. No matter what season or how hot it is, you'll see me with chapped hands and dry cuticles, hence you'll always find a tube of hand cream (or two) lingering in my bag, desk or room. What can I say... I like to hoard and I like to be prepared for any situation. With the wind blasting close to zero degrees and the fact that I still haven't gotten around to buy myself a pair of gloves (I know), these two babies have saved my life.
If they look quite familiar to you, I'm pretty sure I've featured both of these on the blog already, but they're too good to not share. BeeGood Intensive Hand Repair has been on my desk ever since I've gotten it. Nasties free, made by British Bees and something that's super nourishing whilst feeling light and yes... it sinks in almost instantly. A fact I always stress with every hand cream, but because I'm always typing or writing, having greasy hands is just the worst.
Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm has been a hand bag staple and because of its rather uplifting fragrance (it contains a blend o Mandarin Rind, Rosemary Leaf and Cedarwood) it serves as a mini wake-up call during some very dull lectures. Besides earning the full marks on packaging, it ticks all the boxes I set for hand creams: moisturising, quickly absorbed and leaving my hands and cuticles soft and smooth. With these two bad boys by my side, dry hands? No more.
