I'm a big believer that the world is filled with blessings in disguises. How about you?

This must've been one of the shortest hiatuses ever, but it was a brief but effective break and I come bearing with more exciting news! In a nutshell: I graduated this week, got my Bachelor's [of Arts] degree, am finishing up my [current] traineeship at AHAVA next Monday and will start an internship/new project immediately at a yet-to-be-launched super chic fair trade beauty brand. Productivity sides with the busy, eh?

Yes, we can! Dare to dream and be brave. Once you start the day on a positive and optimistic note and you'll notice you're much happier, productive and can conquer the world (well, at least your world). We can survive this Monday. After all, we're still here, n'est-ce pas?

I'm a big tech and digital lover, but for somethings, the oldies are the goldies. Magazines, for example, are just objects that are supposed to be there, stacked on my bedside table —the old fashioned way. When I missed my second [train] connection the other day, I hopped into a bookshop and some magazines caught my eye that I had never spotted before. I picked them up, rushed to the till and here I am, sharing my story. It'd be selfish not to.

You might've spotted on Twitter that I was taking a little break last weekend, due to my thesis deadline. Sadly for you and me both, I won't be able to be back to my regular blogging schedule in a week or two, as I'm this close to graduating, which comes with lots of pressure, stress and preparation. All for a good cause of course.

Something fresh, something conservative free, something good. Well, let me show you something that just ticks all those boxes in one go. Yep, that brand is LUSH. I've always loved their Fresh Face Masks and Tea Tree Tablets, but their other products never really appealed to me. That was until got word on this year's summer line. And girls, let me tell you this: it's good.

You know I love my books —especially when it's a good thriller. I'm not that hard to please, I'll give you that. I bought The Wicked Girls a little while ago (I've mentioned it before here) and started reading it the second I got it. After all, it was dubbed the literary baby Tana French and Jilian Flynn would create when they'd be up all night telling stories at an abandoned amusement park. Now doesn't that sound juicy?

... that's a question I receive quite often. "How do you manage Uni, your internship, part-time job, and your blog at the same time? Do you ever rest?" Well, I can certainly say that I probably spend way too much time behind my laptop to get all the things done and sorted (and watch my series), but at the end of the day, maintaining my blog really gives me a sense of fulfilment and brings me joy. Though I will admit that I do have some tools that do make my life a lot easier, and perhaps could do the same to yours.

Spring is most definitely one of my most favourite seasons. Perhaps its because I'm a spring baby, but the breeze, occasional sun rays and blooming flowers just make me smile instantly. Personally I find that fragrances are such mood enhancers, and this particular selection are my go-to's during spring.

Is it a #BeautyBloggerProblem when I say that Sephora always hooks me right on spot. The spot where my credit card is, I mean. Ever since they (finally!) changed their shipping policy and started shipping to Europe, I've been browsing the site whenever I had a minute to add things to my basket. Did I go to far? Maybe. Oh, well... I'm a beauty blogger after all. ;-)
