The Cleanser I Can't Pronounce

Out of all my posts, I believe this review is the most over-due, ever. And I really mean, ever. Seeing how much I've actually been loving Oskia's Renaissance Cleansing Gel ever since I got it, it'd be unfair not to share the love. After all, we all know that sharing is caring. And you'd do the same in return, right? PS. Despite having studied French for 7 years and having lived in Paris for 6 months, I still can't wrap my mind on how to pronounce this cleanser. Why oh why do Brits pronounce it just so... different (or just simply wrong)!? Oh well...

Smells Like Cotton?

Hi, my name is WengYee and I'm a hand cream junkie. There probably isn't a tube I haven't tried over the years, trust me. You won't spot me anywhere without a tube of hand cream, be it on a night out, at Uni or me being sat at my desk all day. It's just because I'm damned with dry hands and cuticles all year around (thanks Mum). Thanks to my curious nature (and dangerous shopping habits) I've left no brand stone unturned, That being said, I've never gotten around to try the & Other Stories's hand cream range, which I've always secretly loved due to its simplistic packaging. It only took a quick whiff and rub to get me to the till to buy their Zephyr Hand Cream.

The Blemish Lotions

You know when you've found a product so great, you kind of give up the quest to find something that'll blow your mind even further? Well, that's how I felt when I discovered Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion (MB). A cult-classic when it comes to blemish treatments. Would it be too far to say Mario Badescu is like the God of acne-prone-proof skincare? Maybe, but it just worked. That being said, with my current venture into green(er) skincare, I've been looking for some natural alternatives. Meet Indie Lee's Blemish Lotion (IL). She's a keeper.

The Hydraluron Contender

I've confessed my love for Indeed Labs's Hydraluron and I'm currently nearing the end of my second tube: it's a skincare addition must for anyone, but especially those who suffer from dehydrated skin. When I was back home over Christmas I did a big clear out in terms of skincare and re-discovered JUJU Cosmetics's AQUAMOIST Hyaluronic Acid Essence. Slightly different in some ways, but despite that a very serious Hydraluron contender.

The Facial Top Coat

You know how top coats can make or break your manicure, By Terry's Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder definitely extends the life of any chosen base and leaves a layer of pore diffusing, skin smoothing and velvety dreaminess on my skin. A daily staple? Oh heck yeah.

There's An App For That

In my New Year's resolution post (here), one of the things I wanted to achieve this year was being more mindful and active in life. I've always had a thing for apps, as they just make life so much easier and organised. With my resolution in mind, I've sourced new apps and rediscovered forgotten apps —all with the same purpose: to get fit and be healthy.

What I've Been Loving (January 2015)

Aside from stuffing myself with delicious home-cooked meals at home, stressing my #$!@ out for finals and kicking ass in the gym, January was the month where I allowed myself to take time and care for my skin. I slowly introduced new, and old forgotten products back into my routine and whereas that could be a one-way ticket to disaster, my skin is in a much better state right now.
