I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves to treat oneself every now and again. And in my case, that's every now and too often. That aside, it doesn't hold me back. I've fallen in and out of love with beauty boxes, but recently I've jumped back on ship again with my two latest discoveries: The Perfume Society and My Little Box.
The Perfume Society - for those who love fragrances and sniffing good smelling things - £25 per annum. I've got a VIP subscription, which came with a very nice first box, including a pack of fragrance samples, a few miniatures, a hand cream, notebook and a pack of carton 'smelling strips'. They come out with occasional themed fragrance boxes, which are filled with goodness. I love fragrances, but I usually am not that adventurous when it comes to scents and TPS allows me to get out of my comfort zone without having to spend a fortune. Aside from a nice box every now and again, it includes workshops, invites to events, special content, and much much more.
My Little Box - for those who love dainty things and everything aesthetically Parisian - £11/month + £3.95 P&P. It took me a long while to be convinced that MLB would be something worth the buck. After 3 boxes, I was sold. My first two boxes were okay and I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but the third: 'My Little Frenchie Box' blew me away. It was just the right amount of lifestyle and random bits, as well as beauty. (Spoiler: it contained a By Terry eye liner, which is all sorts of amazing). And the latest 'My Little Super Box' isn't too bad either. Each month is based on a theme, which contains a self-published magazine, deluxe beauty samples and full size items, as well as some lifestyle or fashion items. Just the perfect combination of both worlds. And I mean... who doesn't love a box full of surprises, delivered to your doorstep, every. single. month. That's what I thought.
