What I've Been Loving (Half One – 2017)

So I've got a little confession to make... I've been sitting on this post for MONTHS. 2017 is in full swing and it's been a mad one so far. I was hospitalised & on bedrest for the most of January and haven't stopped or had a moment to rest and recharge since I've been back up and running. I guess that's just part of getting older and perhaps living in a city that never seems to sleep. I've not had time or energy to change much in my routine, so these are some beauty bits I've either rediscovered or newly purchased that I've been using – on an almost daily basis – during the first half of 2017.

Let The Fun BeGin – Gin Festival London 2017

I. LOVE. GIN. There I said it. My friend Steph introduced me to gin about 2 years ago and I've never looked back since.

The Best French Pharmacy Products – A Starter’s Guide

Going to a French pharmacy is the best and worst of both worlds: you're being greeted by shelves and shelves of (affordable) beauty products, yet the vast amount of different brands, product types and quality is rather overwhelming. Trust me, I've been there. So to save you breaking into a cold sweat in-store or spending hours skimming through dozens of articles claiming they've got the shortlist for ‘cult French products you need to try’, I've narrowed down a list with some of my personal faves for the ultimate starter guide. Get a cuppa and a biscuit, because it's loooooong.

A New Leaf – Hello 2017!

2016 was one heck of a year. I got my first ‘official’ job, which was followed by my first promotion, I moved back to London and then signed a long-term lease for my flat. SCARY STUFF. There have been great achievements, but I've spent the past few weeks reflecting and making mental notes of what I could do more, better or differently. Here's what you can – hopefully – expect to see on 9 out of ten in 2017.
