Sorry about my lack of posts this week. Have been so tired lately because of my internship. Have to travel 2,5 hours a day in total, but it’s all worth it! I’ll promise I’ll post more regularly in the future, after I get used to the routine haha 🙂
Anyways, today’s posts is about mineral makeup. As the weather is kind of getting better in Holland (not really) I tend to use my mineral powder or tinted moisturizer (post coming soon!) instead of liquid foundation. I have tried many mineral foundation of L’Oréal and both Bare Minerals powders, but I only continued using one brand. And that is Everyday Minerals.
Everyday Minerals is an American make up company that sells mineral make up. And with make up I mean, blush, bronzer, base, highlighter, eyeshadow, finishing powder, lip products. They also sell brushes and even have few mineral skincare products! All of Everyday Minerals does not test on animals, and tries to be as sustainable as possible with their production.
I have been using Everyday Minerals for at least 5 years and I can say, they have improved so much. They were amazing when I first discovered them, but as they grew they created better and more products and improved their packaging.
The reason why I am blogging about this brand today, is because I wanted to introduce you to this amazing brand. With their mineral powders you can get medium to full coverage, it didn’t break me out, and it actually stays on my face a long, long time. I also love their blushes, bronzers and eyeshadows. The ones I tried were very pigmented and long lasting.
Intrigued? Please read on for the goodies I’ve saved up in the end!
Everyday Minerals also offers a load of different sets, mini starter kits that are of great value! It’s a great way to try out a few products for a great price and see which one suits you best. Some sets even come with a mini kabuki, and I have to say that their brushes are insanely soft! And of great quality as well! I have a few brushes of them, and they have never shred at all (and I own them over 3 years!), whereas the MAC brushes shred with their first use – even after washing.
Sounds interesting? Well, this is your chance to try it out! Everyday Minerals has a great sample policy! You can get up to 7 samples for just one penny! Yes, you read it correctly, it is just $0.01! That is the starting price and you can of course give more money, as every cent from the sample kit will go to the Everyday Minerals Wilderness Preservation Plan. The mission of this charity is to actively promote the importance of environmental research, conservation and education. Also, they try to protect and preserve the world as much as possible.
For these sample kits, you only have to pay the shipping costs, which will differ per country. I, of course, ordered one as well, and the shipping costs to the Netherlands were $3.55. I payed $1.45 extra for the samples, as I thought it would be nice to give a bit to charity and make it a round number. Makes me feel less guilty, as I am spending load of money on makeup/skincare lately.
You can order the sample kits here and the sets/mini starter kits here. I highly recommend you checking out their other kits as well. Especially their “no makeup kits”, it includes a mini kabuki brush, and it’s amazing! Super soft and love it for blusher/bronzer!
What do you think about Everyday Minerals? Have you heard about the company before, and are you interested in trying some of their products?
