For those that have been following my blog for a while, you guys know that I absolutely adore Feel Unique. But I mean… how can you not?! A website that sells you product for a fair price (sometimes even cheaper than in stores), free worldwide delivery, and having a crazy assortment of products. They have the niche brands, and also the big mainstream brands. Recently Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, and Dior have been added to their website.
The products I ordered arrived at the house of my parents for a few weeks already, but I only received these beauties yesterday (my parents were sweet enough to sent a parcel to me)! This haul is actually not purchased by myself, I actually won a 50 quid voucher via their Facebook page! Yep, I’m the person you should hate and envy at the same time, ha ha:-) When I received an email from them I couldn’t be more happy. It was my first day in Paris, and I felt horrible being alone. After reading that I had won their give-away contest, it seriously made me feel so much better! I ended up picking some things I’ve always wanted to try, but haven’t bought because of the price, or because “I didn’t really need it”. So I bought ‘only’ 3 products. I tried to spend only the £50 voucher, which didn’t really happened – but I only paid for €10 extra;-)
What I should also mention is that I got all these products during their sale, so most of them were deducted in price. Without further ado, the products I got…
Daniel Sandler – Watercolour Blush in Spicey
This is a gorgeous color, and I only bought this because Daniel Sandler himself said that it was his fave color – ding dong. I tried it this morning, and it is very gorgeous indeed! There is a very subtle shimmer in it, which you almost don’t see once you put it on the skin. The color is great, and very buidable. I do have to mention that this one is less pigmented than the Watercolour Blush I have in ‘POP’. This can be a positive or negative thing, it just depends on the way you look at it;-)
Yves Saint Laurent – Rouge Volupté in #29 Rose Opéra (Opera Rose)
What is not to like about Yves Saint Laurent? I was certain to get a YSL lipstick, but it was so hard to choose from all those gorgeous colors they have! After a lot of nitpicking and looking at swatches on the net, I decided to go for the one I got. It’s a gorgeous pink, and a color that I don’t have in my small lipstick collection yet. And gosh, the packaging is gorgeous!
this works – Perfect Look Skin Miracle
Haven’t tried this one yet, but I will soon! I first heard about this in Lisa Eldrige’s youtube video, but I just couldn’t really justify the price for a product that was that tiny, and I was unsure whether it’d work or not. So, very thrilled that I have it, and I hope it lives up to its hype!
I will do a review on all products mentioned after I’ve used them for a while:-)
Have you been buying beauty products lately?
