Amie Skin Exfoliating Polish

With the weather in London being this depressing, anything that brightens up my day is welcome. Be it colorful nail polish or summer pop songs, the thing that triggers my holiday mood are scents. I’m very sensitive to scents and any kind of fruit/citrus-y fragrance will work uplifting on me, so did Amie Skin Exfoliating Polish*.

Amie is an all natural skincare brand for sensitive skin that is, surprisingly, very affordable. As not everyone has a large budget to splurge on skincare all the time, this is a great alternative to the higher-end options. Coming back to exotic scents the Polish smells like mangoes and takes me back to my summer holidays in Asia where I’d be drinking fruit cocktails all day long. Not only does it smells amazing, the bamboo beads in the scrub exfoliate the skin gently for that ‘mini-facial finish’. Don’t go crazy and rub it harshly onto your face, as that’d be very damaging to your skin no matter what product you’ll use.

After 1-2 minutes of massaging my face (upward in circular motions), I’ll rinse it off with lukewarm water and I’m left with supple, hydrated and soft skin. It’s very important to exfoliate your skin at least once a week to get rid of all the dead skin cells. Yuk, I know. I like to alternate between chemical peels and exfoliating scrubs each week, just because I like to swift things up. When rinsing off an exfoliant scrub I’d like to scrub my hands as well to remove all dead skin cells there too. Smooth hands don’t come for free ‘ya know.

Have you ever heard/tried anything from Amie?
