… the Kiehl’s edition. I’m a big fan of Kiehl’s products as they just work on my skin. Originally created by a pharmacist, which I think is the reason why their products work – they are based on proper research. All products are created by an unique blend of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, herbal and medicinal knowledge developed over generations. What I like the most about Kiehl’s is that their philosophy is based on trying their products out, meaning they are very generous with samples. The reason behind that is because they believe in their products, and know they’ll rock your socks off. Which they do… spot on.
During my weekly Sunday outings I popped into Westfield, a trip that I can totally justify this time. I had a hairdressers appointment in Notting Hill and I needed an umbrella as it was drizzling the entire day so I stopped by the closest Marks & Spencer and got myself a new umbrella, well… it started with that. Having some spare time prior to the appointment it just felt un-kosher to leave without taking a quick stroll, which resulted in a very innocent (and very unplanned) Kiehl’s haul.
Both products I’ve bought before and also have been very happy with the results in the past. My skin has been acting up lately: rough skin, dry patches, break outs – in 3 words: my worst nightmare. Especially the area around my eyes have been so dry and rough that any kind of concealer would crease and make it look even worse without concealer. With my prior experience with Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment in the back of my mind, I got the cream. To my surprise they had 2 sizes – the regular and the supersize one. I knew I just had to get the big tub as one: it’s the biggest tub for eye cream I’ve ever seen (almost as big as some of my moisturisers) and two: it was a way better bang for my buck.
While browsing around with that huge tub of avocado creaminess, I spotted the large version of Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution as well and basically ran with it to the till. This serum literally saved my life as it got rid of most, if not all, my hyper pigmentation. Totes recommended. In the Netherlands there are no large sizes available unfortunately – get your act together Kiehl’s NL!
