Who doesn’t want a miracle to happen and get beautiful skin. Well, with the condition my skin is now, I certainly do. So when Aurelia offered to send me a sample of their Miracle Cleanser* to try, I of course said yes. First impressions: very good. I mean… look at that pink ribbon!
Aurelia is a newly launched British beauty brand using probiotic, repair and peptide technologies with the finest 100% BioOrganic botanicals in their products. They are also free from all the nasties everyone has been detoxing from (i.e. parabens, sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, etc).
The balm is a creamy texture, not oily at all (which I expected after my first cleansing balm encounter) and it smells like Eucalyptus, Chamomile, Rosemary and Bergamot. Very relaxing and just perfect for massaging into your skin, to get all the grub off and your make up from the day. It claims to brighten up your skin and create a luminous, dewy glow after use. I use this after removing my make up as a double cleanse, but it works just fine as a make up remover on its own. After massaging it in for a good few minutes, I take it off with the muslin cloth that comes with the balm. I usually prefer using a flannel, as they are more gentle and softer than the muslin cloths I’ve tried so far. But this gem from Aurelia is certainly on a whole different level. It’s soft, thin, anti-bacterial and most importantly: very gentle on the skin.
After the cleanse my skin just feels insanely soft. As I haven’t been able to try the product out over a longer period, I can’t say whether it would help stimulating my skin’s natural renewal process (resulting in a brighter complexion, revealing younger skin cells). But I did notice that my skin looked dewy – in a good way, after the cleanse. All in all I’m very pleased with the product and am definitely considering buying the full size and their Monday to Sunday Bamboo Muslins, just to make sure I have a clean muslin cloth everyday – yes that is necessary. No seriously, it is.
You can get this beautiful product from their website and as of recently they’re also stocked at Net-a-Porter. It being stocked there just shows you what a must-have it is, doesn’t it. Ugh, I’m such a sucker for good marketing and a good beauty rave.
Will you be trying out Aurelia Miracle Cleanser?
