I’ve been a bit MIA last week – simply was too busy over the past week and I wasn’t able to post as regularly. Apologies for that, hope you didn’t miss me too much. I don’t really like pre-writing posts, unless I’m on holidays, but besides that I like to write on the spot and when inspiration comes flying over. Candid, much?
Last week, work was very chaotic with many things to prep for the event we were hosting – all turned out well luckily. Also met with a girlfriend in Chinatown last week to blow off some steam and had dinner in the only Dutch pub in London – seriously, they should have more here. Last weekend I had the pleasure of having one of my best friends from back home over (if you’re reading this: Hiya!).
We did the typical touristy tour and if you’re an Instagram follower, I probably spammed you till death. Sorry for that. Made a game plan the day before and definitely hit the sales: Oxford Street and Harrods were brilliant. Didn’t pick up too much for myself. I bought a gorgeous scarf from & Other Stories with a discount and I got my mum some great gifts for her birthday – which is not till December, but who am I to let a good deal slide. Will definitely be popping into Harrods again soon to spit out through their skincare and perfume section, saw so many things I wanted to buy. Only two problems: money and not enough space in my suitcase. The latter is the worst as I have to let the Laura Mercier Body Sets slide. Major sob. If you’re in London or have the chance to visit, Harrods is definitely the place to go first. Selfridges have a good sale going on as well and the others will follow soon (John Lewis, I mean you). Totally missed the point with this post, what I wanted to say is: I haven’t forgot you yet and will be posting soon.
Cheers! Have you been checking out the sales already?
