As a beauty blogger I make it my weekly mission to spit through stores, magazines and web shops to accumulate the coolest products that I claim to need. Which I of course don’t really need, depending on the situation and my reasoning. However, this week’s list is slowly but surely making it onto my ‘to buy list next time I go shopping’. I’m telling you, when it’s on that list, it’s on that list.
The weather in London is seriously SO weird. Don’t get me wrong, growing up in the Netherlands I’m used to weather that changes as often as I change my nail polish, but London beats all records. Hence I need all the help Institut Esthederm can give me with their Self Tanning Face Cream and Tan Enhancing Lotion. Summer is coming (hopefully) and I’ll be going on holidays in 5 weeks – there where there is sun. Meaning less fabric and more skin, hello tan legs! Showing more skin equals shaving, which I hate. For some odd reason I always end up with ingrown hairs and as Shaveworks The Cool Fix are supposed to combat that, I’m all in. It also is supposed to soothe the skin after shaving. Originally sold for men, but as it’s stocked in Space NK I’m pretty sure it’s okay to use on legs and other body parts as well.
Still being on the hair front, I’ve been lusting Babyliss Soft Waves Curling Wand for a very long time now. I’m growing my hair now (after my second bob-chop in London) and really would like to trial this to get, well… soft waves. This of course needs to go hand-in-hand with a heat and hair protectant and for hair I’ve chosen Phyto Phytoplaste to protect my hair from harmful UV rays and pool water (not that I ever go to a pool…).
Beauty wise I’ve been dying to try Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Aurelia Miracle Cleanser, but curiosity is in my nature and I just can’t help it. Make up wise Becca have hit the nail for me with an upcoming launch of the Ever Matte Priming Perfector. I’m guilty of blotting throughout the day, multiple times so a primer that is supposed to keep my skin matte definitely grabbed my attention. And their Beach Tints are just as beautiful as ever, Watermelon and Dragon Fruit are on my ‘must swatch list’. Going back to the blotting, I’ve tried many blotting papers. Some are great, some are not so great (i.e. take off make up) and every time I check out at Space NK, these Tatcha Blotting Papers just grab my attention because of their very cool packaging and name. Sometimes you don’t need more than that.
What’s on your wish list this week?
