Summer has really made its appearance now and I couldn’t be more pleased with the weather right now. There’s sun, blue skies and a slight breeze. The perfect weather to do anything honestly. This week’s wish list is a selection of bits where I’ve used my trip to Asia next week as an inspiration and ended up with a selection of body and skincare products.
Being blessed with skin that rarely gets roasted under the sun and tans very well (thanks dad!), I don’t need high SPF to protect me from getting sunburned. I merely apply sunscreen because I don’t want to get a wrinkly body by the time I’m 30. Hampton Sun‘s SPF8 Mist Sunscreen is sunscreen in a bottle that doesn’t clog pores and leaves a non-greasy, healthy bronze glow behind. Personally I can’t be bothered to get fussy with body SPFs so a mist my favorite way to apply it. Continuing on body products, Fushi Really Good Cellulite Oil has caught my eye because it claims to reduce the appearance of cellulite, boost circulation, tone, firm and promote smoother looking skin. Though, luckily, I don’t have cellulite on my body, I do like the sound of toning and firming my legs. Recently I bought a body brush and I think this would work well together to get ‘short-proof’ legs.
Moving on to face, it’s no secret I have a soft spot for the brand Aurelia (see ramble here) and every product I’ve tried so far has impressed me and their Revitalise & Glow Serum is no exception. I’ve received two small samples for me to try and am stunned by the effects it gives. It has beautiful ingredients and their ‘free-from’ policy is brilliant. Though it is quite pricey, I am considering getting the full-size once I’ve used up the samples.
SAMPAR Glamour Shot claims to be a ‘transparent foundation’. What it does is reducing the appearance of wrinkles, smoothing the skin’s texture and leave a matte veil over the skin. I think it’ll be like a primer with great skincare benefits. As my skin is recovering from breakouts, I’m tending towards light to almost no coverage products to let my skin breathe. And to be quite frank, no one likes to have a face with make up melting off.
Though I’m really looking forward to my holidays in Asia, I’m not looking forward to the dreading long-haul flight. 13 hours in a plane? No thank you. The first few hours are okay, but as you keep sitting longer and longer in the same air, it starts to get uncomfortable. Aesop Ginger Flight Therapy is supposed to help to calm, comfort your senses, especially during flights or stressful situations. It contains a blend of ginger root, lavender stem and geranium, which I can imagine, will be very soothing and uplifting. That’s just what I need for my flight.
What’s on your wish list this week?
