Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

Hair. We all know I’m not much of a hair person, but with this much buzz around Oribe product, I had to jump ship. With still some balance left on my Space N.K. gift card, I caved and left the store one Dry Texturising Spray richer. Va-va-voom volume, be mine.

Being sold as an invisible dry shampoo and hairspray in one, it promises to give a ‘sultry texture’ and ‘sexy lift’. Not knowing what to expect from that, I gave it my own shot. Personally, I cringe each time anyone mentions this as a dry shampoo. Let’s be honest, not many of us will actually shell out 18 quid for shampoo in an aerosol spray can. I’ve only been using this as the latter, a hairspray, and I can say that it is not going viral for no reason.

A few spritzes on the roots (make sure to go around the sides, no one wants a pointy head) and it gives an immediate texture, effortless and noticeable volume without the tackiness and uncomfortable feeling to my hair, unlike Bumble and Bumble‘s Surf Spray. Combined with ingredients such as Vitamin B5 to strengthen the hair, Ginger Root Extract to add shine and Humectants to add body while repairing damaged hair, this is a must-have in anyones routine. It comes in two sizes, 300 and 75ml, which is perfect for when you’re on-the-go. After only a few weeks it’s owned a firm spot on my beauty shelf and am tucking it away in my handbag on long days out for touch-ups. Why again didn’t I get the big sized one?

Have you ever tried anything from Oribe?
