With my current obsession with oils, I had to try the latest high-street addition to the skincare isles. It’s gone with the expensive, non-approachable cleansing oils with L’Oréal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil added to the ball game.
Being marketed as a ’15 second cleansing oil’ I expected it to be a oil that’d breakdown dirt and make up very easily, which it definitely does. I personally wouldn’t just use this for a quick rinse, but take my time to massage my skin and slowly cleanse my skin. It has a strong floral scent and the oil is quite runny, but with the pump it’s easy to manage the amount of product coming out. When rinsing it off, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or dry but very plump instead. It’s a silky-ish oil that feels rather luxurious for a £5 cleansing oil. It unfortunately does contain chemical ingredients and is obviously not natural, organic or some sort. But if my last recommendation was still too much of a splurge for you, you’ve got to give this one a shot and dip your foot into the cleansing oil pool. Please.
Will you leave your wipes and balms behind for a cleansing oil?
