A Girl Can Never Have Enough Pink Lipsticks

The past year I’ve been lucky enough to be able to travel quite a few times and somehow I just made it a ‘tradition’ to get a Chanel lipstick every time I enter an airport. This all without being conscious of the consistency of my purchases. Of course I am to blame for each of them, but hey, a girl always can use some Chanel. And as I’m not able to feed my appetite with anything from their fashion lines yet, I guess I have to settle with their beauty range. Not that I’m complaining….

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is their glossier range of lipsticks.  They are very easy to apply, it simply glides on, it doesn’t bleed and just stains the lips slightly. Because it’s from their Shine range where the finish is glossier, it doesn’t stay on the lips as long as their Velvet or Rouge Coco lines. However, it does last a good5 hours on my lips before needing to touch up.

My latest purchase is one of their newer colours, Pygmalion. It’s a gorgeous raspberry pink shade that is very easy to layer up if a more intense colour is preferred. The thing I love the most about the product is that this is such a versatile colour as you can wear it all year around, during any kind of occasion. I’d say it suits mosts, if not all, skin tones and paired with the right make up you might even be able to pull off that ‘English Rose’ look. Well… A girl can hope.

Have you ever tried Chanel lipsticks, if yes: which one is your fave?
