Just In: Pixi

If it’s one thing that can make my day, it’s new beauty things. And the best ones are those that you expect the least. Having heard many things regarding Pixi, I was rather curious how well their make up range would do, which is why I selected a few make up staples from their main range to see how they’d do against my personal favourites.

We all know by now I love a good lip product and tinted lip balms have my preference as I’m at Uni most of the time. Effortless beauty is a plus, plus, plus, while it needs to be easy to re-apply and longevity is key. I’ve swatched the Tinted Brilliance Balm in Rosey Red and could not believe the consistency and colour payoff it has, it’s bloody marvellous. I’ll report back on the wearability soon. As I wear a base most of the time, a rosy cheek colour is rather important for me not to look tired or dead. Sheer Cheek Gel in Rosy gives me just that, from what I can see from the back of my hand that is. It’s really a gel and feels like water. Very different from liquid blushes I’ve tried before.

The most exciting product that arrived is their Natural Brow Duo in Medium Brown. I’m a huge lover of Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel (in Espresso if you were wondering) and the beauty beast in me was just looking for something new to try. What I really like is that it has a wax on one side and a tinted brow gel on the other. Talk about multi-functional. The wax is a bit hard (from what I can feel on the back of my hand), but that’s a good thing in this case. You don’t want it to melt and create a mess, as this way you can add the product exactly where you need it. Gosh, I really needed some new beauty products to perk me up.

Have you ever tried products from Pixi?
