What I’ve Been Loving (March 2014)

March has passed by so fast and I’m actually starting to worry about my thesis. It’s the second month of my traineeship and I’ve only got three more to go, taking into account I’ve got to research, hold a focus group, analyse survey responses and write an advice based on all the information I’m accumulating. Sigh. Despite being über busy at work, I did spend lots of time bonding with this month’s favourites.

I can’t promise you this will be the last time I’ll mention Clarins Radiance Boosting Complexion Base and Clinique City Block Sheer SPF25. I’ve been using both and it has saved me lots of concealer and most probably have reduced the chances of sun damage. Without further nagging about them any more, you can read their individual posts here and here.

Skincare wise I’ve been loving SAMPAR So Much to Dew Midnight Mask, which is by far my most favourite overnight mask to date. It is packed with hydrating properties, creating a bomb of goodness for the skin. I personally don’t use the brush that comes with it, but it’s very soft and really gentle for the skin. The next morning my skin is so plump and hydrated because of this and I love to use this when I’m too lazy to slap on all my evening treatments —more about overnight treatments here. Whilst we’re on the topic of moisture packed products, AHAVA Dermud Intensive Hand Cream is my most recent favourite when it comes to nourishment for the hands. Although it might not smell the best, it is so effective for dry and chapped hands. It nourishes my cuticles and smoothes the back of my hands in a sec and sinks in almost instantly —perfect when you’re not feeling like tapping away with sticky tips.

And lastly, a rather random favourite: packed seaweed. Mine is from a Korean brand and it’s plain seaweed with perilla oil. I’ve been looking for healthy snacks to kill time during my commute from the office and seaweed is just that. It’s not salted and seaweed is packed with great skin and body benefits. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can wrap food in the seaweed too: rice, Kim Chi, whatever you feel like. Gosh, I’m salivating already…

What have you been loving this month?
