The Empties Edit #2

Truthfully, I’m surprised I managed to finish so many products in such short notice and because my last empties post was so popular, I thought I’d do another one. This post is full with my personal favourites, and I’d repurchase these in a heartbeat.

Korres Body Butter
I got introduced to Korres body products little over a year ago and I’ve been using their stuff non-stop. Their Body Butters and Shower Gels are the best and Japanese Blossom is one of my fave lines. The butters are very nourishing, though not too thick or difficult to blend into the skin. What I love the most is that it’s scented very light and it doesn’t leave the skin sticky.

Conscious Skincare Soothing Hand Cream Hardworking Hands
This is a little pot of gold. Packed with organic ingredients, such as Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Evening Primrose Oil among others. It looks a bit gloopy in the tub, but once you rub it on the skin it turns into an oil. It’s great for dry and chapped skin and a lovely cuticle treatment at the same time.

NUXE RĂªve du Miel
A cult lip balm in the beauty industry, I’m sure. And I can tell you that it doesn’t disappoint a bit. A lovely matte lip balm that nourishes the lips really well, whilst being the perfect base for a (matte) lipstick. As it leaves a matte finish, it doesn’t leave the lips sticky, which often causes lipstick to slip away. It’s also gorgeous to wear on its own.

REN ClearCalm3 Clarity Restoring Mask
My fave anti-blemish mask. It simply work and dries out the blemishes, without drying out the skin. It’s got Sulfur which reduces inflammation and is anti bacterial. French Clay absorbs oil and Zinc reduces production of sebum. Let it sit on the skin for about 15 minutes and the next morning my skin is less inflamed and spots are less angry or a lot smaller in size.

REN Active 7 Eye Gel
I’ve still got the old packaging, but the formula is still the same. It’s one of my fave de-puffing eye gels. It’s got Chinese Ginseng which boosts circulation in the capillaries and Vitamin P from Rose Water, which works anti inflammatory. Fig soothes the skin and Flavonoids de-puff the eyes. It’s very easy to blend and sinks almost immediately into the skin, making it a perfect base for the next step (i.e. foundation, concealer).

Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Espresso
Quite frankly, this is my first proper brow product and one bottle lasted so long. I love how easy this is to use and perfect when you’re just trying to get the hang of defining your brows. A few brushes make a big difference and defining brows have never been such an easy and quick job. The gel is quite pigmented, so you need to be light handed with this, otherwise you might look a bit too Cara-esque.
