If you’ve seen my Sephora wish list, you may have noticed that there are quite some things that have been swopped around for other products. In fact, I’ve only now realised that I’ve just ordered one thing from that initial list. Oops? My biggest regret is that I couldn’t get a hold of the Bite Destructed Rose Library anymore, but hey, I compromised with other products to fill its absense. Be prepared for a haul packed with too many masks and lip products for one face.
So let’s start with skincare. I might’ve gone a bit mad for Peter Thomas Roth, but what can I say… I love widening my skincare horizon. Their Un-wrinkle Peel Pads are supposedly great for exfoliating and brightening the skin. In the past I’ve used similar ones from Origins and spotting these on the site reminded me how much I used to like them.
Next, I picked up Skinstant Mask Magic, which is a set with 3 of their most popular facial masks —one to detoxify, repair and polish. You know how much I love my 3-step-pampers (or if you didn’t, now you do) and it just felt wrong to not buy this. I’ve tried them only once and I’m not quite sure I can put my finger on it yet, but I’ll report back soon. The last bit of skincare I got is the Ole Hendriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster, which claims to brighten the skin and stimulate collagen production. It is a mouth full, but it’s the only product that has actually been able to lighten my hyper pigmentation without breaking me out.
Make up wise, I’m not sure it’s that exciting, but I decided to get some products that aren’t overly talked in the beauty community —call it my rebellious act. Whilst unable to get my hands on Bite‘s Lipstick Library, I picked up their Luminous Lipstick Crème Duo in Neutral, which houses the shades Musk (a pink brown) and Lychee (a light neutral pink). And as I was browsing the mini’s section anyways, Hourglass Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon, a blue-toned dark red, came with me as well. I own the full size in Raven, which is ah-mazing —both formula and colour wise. I chucked in a set of Boscia Blotting Papers, which came with a nifty case, a pack of Josie Maran Argan Lip & Cheek Color Sticks and a mini Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, which was a 100-point-reward. Yay for freebies!
