As an everyday makeup wearer and being super acne-prone, I take my make up removal regime really seriously. Bioderma Sensibio H20 is still the one I reach for when I can’t be bothered to wash my face (i.e. after a few too many cocktails), but on regular days cleansing oils are my go-to’s. Having run out of my beloved DHC Cleansing Oil (more on that here), I’ve recently repurchased the Super Facialist by Una Brennan Skin Renew Cleansing Oil, which is a good ‘ole fave.
I’ve actually done a review on this last year, and I’m still using this nearly every day. Most surprising thing? I’m still not sick of it yet, which happens often. Maybe it’s the uplifting and subtle zesty fragrance or maybe it’s the nourishing properties in the product – I just love it.
The only difference I noticed in the product is that they’ve improved the packaging, so pouring the product out is not a dreadful task anymore. I use a generous amount to massage my face and get all the make up and daily grime off my face. Once in touch with water, it’ll turn into a milky consistency that takes off every bit of make up without being stripping. I follow up with any other cleanser based on what my mood is: a gel cleanser when I’m feeling lazy (i.e. almost every day), a cream cleanser when my skin is a bit on the dry side or a rich balm cleanser when I’m in need of some TLC.
